Hi, I'm Shamarr

Hi, I’m Shamarr Moses, a multimedia journalist with a passion for storytelling, sports reporting, and building authentic connections. My on-air personality helps create a safe and comfortable space for athletes and interviewees to open up and share their personal stories, allowing me to highlight voices and perspectives that might otherwise go unnoticed.

For the past two years, I’ve reported for KNSU-TV at Nicholls State University, covered sports for WGNO in New Orleans, and written for the Houma–Thibodaux Times. My favorite part of journalism has always been feature storytelling—bringing forward stories that resonate deeply and reveal the human side of both sports and community life.

At Nicholls, I quickly rose to the role of KNSU-TV Station Manager, where I’ve led a talented team, set high standards, and fostered collaboration that reflects my passion for storytelling. After graduation, I aspire to continue working in sports reporting and broadcasting, where I can build on my experience and continue telling stories that connect with audiences on a deeper level.
